ACC Men’s Tournament Preview II

GreensboroSports.com’s Odds to Win the 2006 ACC Tournament

UNC 8 to 5 – The Heels are on a roll. They are NOW the team to beat.
Duke 2 to 1 – Duke is still Duke. If JJ gets hot and help from his friends, nobody can stop the Devils.
Boston College 10 to 1 – Steady and tough inside. The prototype tournament team.
Florida State 15 to 1 – Athletic and capable of making a major Tournament run.
NC State 15 to 1 – Pack is slumping at the wrong time. Sendek needs to right the ship and the Pack needs to get healthy in a hurry.
Maryland 25 to 1 – Williams is an experienced tournament coach. Terps won the 2004 Tournament in Greensboro as a lower seed dark horse.
Clemson 50 to 1 – Clemson probably doesn’t have the firepower to take it all.
Miami 50 to 1 – Diaz and Hite will need to put together four days to remember for the Canes to make a run.
Virginia 75 to 1 – Leitao has gotten about as much out of this team as can be expected. A Tournament Title is just too much to ask.
Wake Forest 100 to 1 – Wake was supposed to finish in the upper division this year. If they play like it maybe……but probably not.
Virginia Tech 300 to 1 – Football practice starts in how many days?
Georgia Tech 350 to 1 – There have been better days in Atlanta. There will be again, just not this year.
