Jim Modlin will join in on the broadcast and Paul Lambeth will have updates on Western Guilford at Northeast Guilford. High School football on the Radio on Friday night with the Captain Jimmy Fulmer and here are your polls for this week.

LUCKY 13

#1) Grimsley(The 5-0 Whirlies are Open this week after last week’s 33-9 pounding of Ragsdale. Grimsley now sets their sights on Page coming up Friday September 29)

#2) Thomasville(There seems to be no stopping the 5-0 Bulldogs, although last week’s game with North Rowan{27-14} was closer than usual)

#3) Eastern Randolph(The Wildcats behind very smooth QB Scott Riddle are leaving the others in the dust. They dusted off Surry Central 34-0 last week and with their 5-0 start they shouldn’t have any trouble with Southwestern Randolph Friday)

#4) Dudley(The Panthers could give the team down in Charlotte a few tips and with their 35-0 win over Page last week the Panthers begin conference play Friday versus Rockingham County on Homecoming at Tarpley Stadium just off Lincoln Street at East Lee for those coming into Greensboro for the Big Game)

#5) Burlington Cummings(The Cavaliers seem to be doing everything right after an early season loss to Dudley(12-0) and the Cavs whipped previously unbeaten Western Alamance last Friday(40-28) and this week it’s the Big Battle of Burlington as Cummings faces off with Burlington Williams)

#6) Reidsville(The Rams were off last week and with their 3-1 record they travel to meet Magna Vista, Virginia Friday and then take on George Washington Danville next week)

#7) Asheboro(The Blue Comets roughed up Western Guilford 35-3 last week and after being down 3-0 the Comets never looked back. At 4-0 the Comets travel to take on a tough Southwest Guilford team this week)

#8) Western Alamance(The Warriors got worn out by Cummings and at 4-1 they hit the road to meet 2-2 Morehead as conference play gets under this week)

#9) Northeast Guilford(NEG had last Friday night off and will host Western Guilford at Bill Bookout Stadium off Hicone Road. NEG is 3-1 and WG 1-4)

#10) High Point Andrews(The Raiders are 3-2 after they got past HP Central 34-28 in a close one at Simeon Stadium last week. HP Andrews has a chance to shake things up in the local 3-A races)

#11) Southwest Guilford(The Cowobys keep coming at you at 4-1 and were lucky to pull it out last Friday against Eastern Guilford winning in OT 36-35 with All-State candidate Albert Craddock leading the way. This week SWG hosts Asheboro)

#12) Southeast Guilford(The Falcons defeated Northwest Guilford 29-8 behind Dion Bratcher’s 204 yards rushing and 3TD’s. SEG coach Fritz Hessenthaler called NWG the best 0-5 team in the state. This week the 3-1 Falcons host 2-2 Ragsdale, a team that SEG hasn’t beaten since Reagan was in the White House)

#13) Glenn(The Bobcats have fallen fast now at 2-2, but they will still be a factor as long as Dickie Cline is in charge)
