Greensboro, NC) The Greensboro Grasshoppers have announced the 2007 season schedule, which starts on the road for the Hoppers April 5th against the reigning South Atlantic League Champion Lakewood BlueClaws. (Schedule is PDF File)
The season runs from April 5 through September 3 and features a total of 140 games, 70 home and 70 away.
Game times will remain the same for the upcoming season with Monday through Saturday games starting at 7:00pm and Sunday games at 5:00pm. The Hoppers will also feature six 12:30pm day games and two Guilford County school days.
Other promotional dates for the season are being finalized and will be released at a later date.
“We are diligently working to add promotions and enhance the fan experience even more for next season,†said Greensboro Grasshoppers President Donald Moore. “The team has a favorable schedule and we plan to make the most of it.â€
The Grasshoppers are recent recipients of the South Atlantic League’s Club Merit Award and General Manager of the Year for the second straight season. The Hoppers continue to grow attendance, as First Horizon Park welcomed 427,890 fans during the 2006 season. Season tickets are now on sale for the 2007 season.
