Revolution – Fan Fest

Sorry for the late post – these guys need somebody in their PR Department REALLY BAD!

The Revolution is hosting their Pre-Season Fan Fest TODAY (Saturday, March 10, 2007) at the Greensboro Coliseum from 10 AM to 1 PM. It’s FREE, except for your Coliseum Parking Fees. Anywhere from $20 to $3 – who knows what it will be today – let’s spin the Parking Fee Wheel. The Southern Living Home Show is also going on at the coliseum, so look for big crowds and higher parking fees.

From the Revolution Website:

The Greensboro Revolution are pleased to present the first annual, “Fan Fest.” On March 10th the Greensboro Coliseum will host the event from 10 am until 1 pm. 1. I tried emailing you about this 2 weeks ago. Your contact page has no info and the e-mail I eventually found for you bounced. I tried over several days.

So before you complain that no one is telling you about events, you need to provide a way to contact you.

  2. The Revolution is an indoor football team. It’s actually a pretty exciting concept – Think Free Flicker Football with Pads. It’s one of the few things held in the coliseum that is actually affordable.

There are several different variants of Indoor Football around today, each with minor rule differences. All you need to really know is that it is fast and high scoring.

We’re going to fix the contact data – here’s Andy’ email – durhamandy@hotmail.com

It’s avery fast paced environment. Being indoors, you get caught up in the roar of the crowd very quickly.

It’s an exciting show and while it’s football, they do lot of little contests and things during breaks to keep everyone in the family interested.

    It’s worth checking out.
