The Greensboro College Pride men’s soccer team defeated three-time defending national champion Messiah 1-0 on Friday in the team’s first game of the season.
This took place at the Christopher Newport tournament in Newport News, Virginia. Eric Hatchett scored the lone winning goal for GC with the assist going to Grimsley grad Grayson Leonard.
This is being called the greatest victory in Greensboro College history.
