Here’s this week’s edition with week four getting into gear on Friday night. We will have our weekly predictions and a new NFL picks contest coming up on Friday.

The Guilford County Poll
#1 TIE Northeast Guilford and Grimsley(The Rams are hard to stop at 2-0 after the win against Eastern and Grimsley is on a roll(3-0) following their big victory over Dudley.
#3 Page(The Pirates(2-1) grabbed a one point win on the road and now travel to Ragsdale to take on a Tiger team that’s coming off a tough loss at NWG)
#4 Dudley(The Panthers{2-1} fell hard at home vs. Grimsley and now go over to Grimsley to face Smith in Jamieson Stadium on Saturday night)
#5 Western Guilford(The Hornets are 3-0 and visit Eastern Guilford on Friday. Can WG start off 2007 at 4-0?)
#6 High Point Andrews(The Raiders are 1-0 with two early open dates to begin the year and now will be the opponent for Grimsley’s home opener on Friday. Raiders could be in big trouble facing the Zach Maynard-led Whirlies)
#7 Southeast Guilford(The Falcons picked up win number one against SWG and now have the chance to go 2-1 at SG if Coach Fritz can get that power game going)
#8 Southern Guilford(The Storm are 2-1 after the tough two-point loss to Trinity and now face a hard-running SEG Falcon force at CK Siler Stadium on Friday night)
#9 Ragsdale(I’m not sure what was wrong with the Tigers at NWG last week. The death of Coach Ronnie Smith may have effected them and this week it doesn’t get any easier for the 2-1 Tigers with Page coming over to Miller Stadium in Jamestown)
#10 High Point Central(HPC dropped a heart-breaker to Eastern Randolph last Friday 18-17 and now the 1-2 Black Bison must get ready for the unbeaten Wake Forest-Rolesville squad coming to Simeon Stadium on Friday)
#11 Northwest Guilford(NWG was impressive in their 14-0 win over Ragsdale but the anty gets higher as they go up Highway 29 North to face Northeast Guilford at Bill Bookout Stadium on Friday night. The Vikings carrry a 1-2 record into BBS)
#12 Southwest Guilford(The Cowboys are 1-2 after the loss to SEG)
#13 Eastern Guilford(The Wildcats are 1-2 after the beating they took up at NEG and now they face the upstart WG Hornets at EG on Friday)
#14 Smith(The Golden Eagles got the board first at WG and led 6-0 before falling by the 17-6 final. Smith is 0-3 and lookig Mr. 0-4 right in the face as the meet Dudley on Saturday at Grimsley)
#15 Northern Guilford(No new news on Johnny Roscoe’s boys after last week’s game with Smith. You have to think JR has these kids at no worse than 2-1 and set to pick up another “W” tonight)
