High School football for Friday September 21

Grimsley, Page, and Southwest Guilford are off tonight but Page will host the 4th annual Hunter Byers Memorial soccer game at 7pm in Kirby Stadium. Byers is a former Page soccer player who died in 2003. Admission is only $5.00 and the money goes to the Scholarship Fund. The 1977 Page Pirate state champs will be honored at halftime and Athletic Director Rusty Lee will make a speech.

HS Football tonight:Southeast Guilford at Ragsdale-The Tigers have Matt Heavner at QB and you saw what Robert Bell was saying about Heavner in today’s N&R, the Tigers take it at home in Miller Stadium. SEG has struggled with their offense and Ragsdale has great athletes all over the field. Coach Tommy Norwood also said Ragsdale would win and what do you expect him to say? AM950 will be there with Big Jim Modlin returning to his roots.
Northeast Guilford at Western Guilford-NEG lost up at Reidsville but they will win on Friendway Drive by 28. Paul T. Lambeth III reporting on AM950.

High Point Central at North Davidson-North Davidson wins but it won’t be easy or will it, ND Black Knights stand at 5-0.
High Point Andrews at Asheboro-Asheboro takes it by six.
Eastern Guilford at Cedar Ridge-EG by three.
Northwest Guilford at Mount Tabor-The Spartans over the Vikings on hostile turf in Winston-Salem.
WS Carver at Smith-The Yellowjackets will prevail by 35.
West Montgomery at Southern Guilford-The Storm will fall to a team from far away.
