The Greensboro Ice Hockey Booster Club is still in operation these days. In fact they are having their monthly meeting, Wednesday, September 26th at Bill’s Pizza on High Point Road. Come out at 6 PM, if you want to eat; 7 PM if you want to meet.
The Booster Club is arranging a Group Outing to Winston-Salem ‘s Twin City Cyclones home opener on Saturday October 27th. The Cyclones are having a post-game parking lot party as well. You can attend with the Booster Club (at Group Rates) or get there yourself. They have plans for some Road Trips this year as well to see other teams and former Greensboro players still in action.
The Booster Club is also selling ATTRACTION BOOKS – those coupon books that give big discounts to restaurants and stores.

According to their website, the Cyclones home opener is Thursday, October 25th against Jacksonville.
Are the boosters doing their thing at the home opener or at the Saturday game?
I was wondering that myself….
Apparently, Thursday is a “soft” home opener, since people are stay out longer on Saturday. I’ll find out tonight about the confusion.
