Reidsville at High Point Andrews-HPA(1-3), Reidsville(5-0)…Reidsville by 42 or more.
*****I attended the Northern Guilford-Southern Alamance JV football game on Thursday evening at Guilford College and the NGHS Nighthawks improved to 4-1 on the season with a convincing 28-7 win over the Patriots. Runningback Muhammed Kellis had at least two TD’s and over 100 yards on the ground and QB Rocky Scarfone hooked up with Bob Hicks for a TD through the air.

At halftime Nighthawk coach Johnny Roscoe told his players that he wanted to run the 46/47 series and get to the oustside and lay off of the inside stuff with the 41/42 sets out of the Power I. The Northern Guilford Nighthawks JV team is 4-1 so Coach Roscoe and his kids are doing something right and they will be back at Guilford College in the Nighthawks Nest next Thursday at 7pm with Rocco Scarfone on the public address system telling the fans to make some noise.*****

  2. The Grimsley game looked closer than many thought it would be. Page played a tight one against Davie Co. as well but could not get the win. It looks like Page might have to play the role of spoiler this season in the annual crosstown grudge match with Grimsley. I guess the idea that the Pirates/Whirlies match-up would be a “big game” is going up in smoke. Then again, after what Page did to Coach Via, you know what they say about karma.
