A&T Homecoming Game this Weekend

It is Homecoming time again at North Carolina A&T and as usually, there are plenty of events going on at the A&T campus and around town to celebrate. Rev. Al Sharpton was in town on Monday night as the keynote speaker at the “Solid Gold Pep Rally” and there are a number of other events going on throughout the week and into the weekend. The Homecoming Football Game takes place at Aggie Stadium this Saturday as A&T hosts Bethune-Cookman at 1:30 pm. Prior to the game, the Homecoming Parade starts near campus, bright and early at 8 am. Below, Greensboro Sports has put together a list of Homecoming Events for this weekend as well as information about these events. For complete Homecoming info, visit here.

  1. Why is this being made out to be such a big deal? Isn’t this team 0-8 for ’07 or something like that. You’d think there would be more important things to write about.

  2. NC A&T is a fine university with a rich heritage in our community and they will add several million dollars to the economic impact that will effect our City this upcoming weekend. Go Aggies.

  3. N.C. A&T State University is a class act and all of their people do top notch work. We should be proud to have them in the Triad. Aggie Pride Class of 1985

  4. Tim is right on one point. The Aggie’s football team has struggled this season and has been down for quite some time. I think most would tell you though that Homecoming at A&T is a lot more than just the football game. Go out to High Point Road on Friday or Saturday night. While there will be no footballs, there will be plenty of people – win or lose on the gridiron.

  5. The quality of the football team has nothing to do with A & T Homecoming. Homecoming is a HUGE event, with thousands of people traveling to Greensboro from all of the United States. There are usually parties booked in Greensboro and Winston-Salem. there will be 20,000 at aggie stadium Saturday afternoon, 23,000 at the coliseum that night, and social activities all over the triad. It is the biggest social event of the year on many people’s schedules.

  6. There will be many religous services taking place thoroughout the A & T Homecoming Weekend. AMEN to all the good positive things that have been said about our Aggies.

  7.
