Wolfpack player caught on the howl or prowl?

(Raleigh) News & Observer
A football player for N.C. State University was charged Monday with breaking into cars in Cary, police said.

Police arrested player Cedric Denard Hickman, 21, of 2717 Western Boulevard, Raleigh, on five counts of breaking and entering motor vehicles. Hickman was being held in the Wake County jail this morning in lieu of $50,000 cash bond.

Hickman came to NCSU from Winston-Salem, according to the Wolfpack Web site.

Someone called 911 about 3:15 a.m. Monday and reported seeing two people looking into vehicles in the 1300 block of Seabrook Avenue, Police Capt. Dave Wulff said. Police went to the area and arrested Hickman and a second man, Christopher Allen Sutton, 19, of Wilmington.

Sutton, a student at NCSU, was charged with five counts of breaking and entering motor vehicles and larceny as well as resisting, delaying and obstructing arrest and possession of stolen goods. He was released under $51,500 bond.
*****I believe this is the same Cedric “Ced” Hickman that used to play football and basketball for the North Forsyth Vikings. Others can discuss.*****
