Tiger Miller makes the jump to the Grasshoppers

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Single A (Baseball minor league affiliate Florida Marlins) Greensboro Grasshoppers has selected Tiger Miller of Pleasant Garden, bat boy for the 2008 upcoming season.

Tiger is a recent Baseball Factory and UnderArmour Development Team participant out of Columbia, Maryland. He has been coached by Alan Ashkinazy, former Minor League player and owner of Greensboro Batting Center, and also coached by Marty Reed of Salisbury, Head Pitching coordinator of the LA Dodgers.

Tiger played last year at the Southeast Middle School where his coach was David Beasley and this year Miller is in the 9th grade at Southeast Guilford High School where he will be playing for the Falcons and coach Lynn Coble.

Tiger came up through the ranks at the Pleasant Community Center and worked hard to reach his current status as one of the top young baseball players in our area.

Good luck to Tiger Miller in his new job with the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Tiger’s brother, Adam, is currently in training at the Fitness Today with Big Jim Modlin, on Randleman Road.
