Greensboro College’s Ben Norman was named to National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCCAA) South region academic team.

Ben Norman

A native of Blowing Rock, N.C., Norman carries a 3.7 grade point average and is studying business management as part of GC’s honors program. The junior scored five goals and dished three assists from his midfield position this year.

In November, Norman was picked to CoSIDA District Academic Team and named USA South honorable mention. He was a starter on a GC team that was 14-5-3, won the USA South Tournament and advanced to the second round of the 2007 NCAA Division III men’s soccer championships.
