  1. HPC boys are 3-17 overall and 0-7 in the conference. Lost to NWG Tuesday, team is lost under new coach.

  2. Guarantee tie for first with three games to play. Metro is 7-0 for Whirlie boys and there are still some other teams with 3 losses but the Whirlies are in the driver’s seat. A win tonight would just about wrap it up.
    Grimsley 7-0
    Page 4-3
    East Forsyth 4-3
    Smith 3-4
    NWG 3-4
    HPC 0-7
I might not them all but this is pretty close. Grimsley would probably have to lose out the last three games to give up the title.

    Dudley is at 11-0
    Northern 8-3
Northeast Guilford 8-3 Triad 3-A boys and the girls battle is Dudley 11-0 and NEG 10-1 and they play tonight at NEG.

  3. HPC has improved tremendously over the course of the season–dont look at the record–13 players either graduated or transfered from this program last year–basically they have 1 player with varsity experience–also dont forget they played Trinity, Andrews, Mt Tabor (2 tmes), GDS–combined these teams only have 7 or 8 losses

  4. Former Whirlie player Marlan Smith is very proud of his old teammates and coaches as they continue on the hunt for the playoff run… He is very impress of how they are playing good defense and being able to control the tempo of the game…. He works out with them from time to time and attends the game and he made his apperance last night against the PIRATES.
    Go Whirlies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Smith is struggling to make the play offs but forget about this year wait till next year. they have so much talent and so much to look forward to. dont be suprised if the state champions next year go by the name of Ben L. Smith
