Dudley done/UNCG comes marching home

The season ended for the Dudley Panthers boy’s basketball team on Saturday afternoon when they were beaten 68-51 by Kinston in the 3-A regional finals at ECU. Dudley finishes at (28-3) while Kinston(27-4) will play Trinity(30-1) for the state championship this Saturday in Chapel Hill. Trinity’s only loss this season was to the Ragsdale Tigers.

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – Sophomore guard Stephen Curry scored 26 points, including the 1500th of his college career, as top-seeded Davidson knocked UNC Greensboro out of the Southern Conference Tournament with an 82-52 semifinal round win Sunday night at the North Charleston Coliseum.

UNCG’s Kyle Hines finished his career with his streak of games scoring in double-figures intact. On one of the tougher days of his illustrious career, the senior from Sicklerville, NJ finished with 10 points to extend his nation’s longest streak to 81 straight games.
