Blogging March Madness

This March Madness will be interesting for the “New Media”, aka Bloggers.

During the NCAA Baseball Championships last year, a blogger was ejected because he was “Live Blogging”, aka reporting on the games as they happened. Ever notice that disclaimer at most sporting events, it means that you can watch and enjoy; but don’t think about writing about it. I thought about “Live Blogging” the ACC Tournament and most of the March Madness; my approach would be crowd watching. I’d probably get a “CEASE and DESIST” orders from several sources and risk criminal charges.

Then I see this, so you can read someone else’s blog because they are SPONSORED by the NCAA. You can bet the Coke is spending more than a few bucks to do this. AND FOLKS WONDER WHY COLLEGE IS MORE PROFESSIONAL THAN AMATEUR???
