NAYSAYER – The Charlotte Hack Job

It appears as if everybody from John Robinson to Ed Hardin to Ed Cone and again are doing a hack job on the ACC Tournament in Charlotte.

Not enough seats. THEN – Not enough people in them.

The problem is that there is just too much to do and enjoy within a short walk of the Charlotte Coliseum. Your team loses, you walk down the street for a few beers and next thing you know, it’s time to go to sleep.

In Greensboro, where you going to go? You can walk across the street to Stamey’s or a block down High Point Road for a Lap Dance. Now, that’s entertainment! If the coliseum offered shuttle buses to Downtown, the Mall or Friendly Center, they couldn’t sell those $5 Hot Dogs and $4 Sodas. (Or the alcohol they sell “off-site” in the exhibition center and pavillion.)

What you gonna do??? Greensboro’s got the facility, the ACC needs the seats. Plus the locals line up to buy those extra tickets as fans leave after their teams lose. Lets see Charlotte do that.
