Game One: GC 8, Mary Baldwin 0 (6 innings)

Jenee Johnson went 3-4 with a run and 2 RBI to lead The Pride, which scored 4 times in the first inning. Jessica Clack, Kristen Coakley and Britney Smith also collected 2 hits for the home team.

Olivia McPherson (2-3) got the shutout win for GC.

Game Two: GC 1, Mary Baldwin 0

Nikki Wilborn tripled in Britney Smith for the game’s only run in the 6th inning as Greensboro College defeated Mary Baldwin, 1-0, in the second game of a USA South doubleheader on Saturday.

Jenee Johnson and Jessica Clack both had 2 hits for The Pride. Jordan Davenport (1-1) picked of the complete game shutout victory on the hill for GC. She fanned 5, walked one and allowed 6 hits.

Hard luck losing pitcher Amber Ralston took the defeat for the Fighting Squirrels (2-21, 0-8).
