A&T center fielder C.J. Beatty was named MEAC Player of the Week along with Norfolk State catcher Brad Stephenson. Beatty hit .393 in eight games last week and collected eight RBIs. For the season, the Winston-Salem native is hitting .414 with 28 RBIs. The sophmore is averaging one RBI per contest.
Elon pitcher Steven Hensley was named Southern Conference Pitcher of the Month for March. The junior from Asheville is 5-0 with a 1.79 ERA for the season.
