Greensboro Pride Softball Splits with Bridgewater

GM2: Greensboro College 7, Bridgewater 3,

Reliever Stacie Patterson pitched 5 2/3 innings of no-hit ball as The Pride defeated Bridgewater, 7-3, in the second game of a non-conference doubleheader on Thursday. Entering for Olivia McPherson, Patterson struck out 5 and walked 3 Eagles.

At the plate, Kendra Leghart went 3-5 with a double, triple and 5 RBI. Britney Smith homered in her 2 at-bats.

GM1: Bridgewater 6, Greensboro College 5 (10 Innings)

Bridgewater came from behind to force extra innings and defeated The Pride, 6-5, in 10 innings.

Ashley Gills (3-2) got the win for the Eagles and Jordan Davenport (2-2) took the loss for The Pride.

Meagan Knight went 2-5 with a double and 2 RBI to lead Pride hitter. Jessica Clack and Britney Smith collected 2 hits for GC. Both teams had 11 hits in the game.
