Washington and Lee Strengthens Lead at ODAC Golf
WLU’s James Takes Over Individual Lead

AMHERST, Va. — Washington and Lee University senior Nathaniel James fired a two-under par 70 to help the Generals extend their lead in the ODAC Golf Championships to 28 strokes following the second round. Washington and Lee now boasts a 596 total (302-294) and takes a strong cushion over second place Guilford College (321-303 — 624) into the final day of action on Monday.

Paired with his first round 75, James’ second round 70 moves him into first individually, one stroke ahead of first day leader Ralston King (72-74 — 146) from Randolph-Macon College.
