Indianapolis, IN — Greensboro College’s David Sutton (Greensboro, N.C./Western Guilford) was picked as an alternate to the NCAA Division III Individual Championships. The event will be held May 16-18 at Bates College in Lewisburg, ME.

Should any Atlantic South Region Individual not be able to play, Sutton would be summoned to the championships. Sutton complied a 17-4 record for The Pride this year. He is the first male tennis player from Greensboro College to be picked to the championships.

“This is a huge accomplishment for David and our program,” said GC Head Coach Dave McCain. “If he gets the opportunity to compete, I’m confident he will play well.”
