Greensboro College Golf’s Cumming Earns All America honors at NCAAs

Braselton, Ga. — Greensboro College’s Josh Cumming shot a final round 81 to finish with a 301 total for the 4 days of the NCAA Division III championships. Cumming, who was 17 over par for the tournament, placed tied for 19th which earns him third team All America honors.

“Josh was the one of the most consistent performers during the first three days of the tournament,” said Pride Head Coach Scott Tiernan. “It’s tough to play at such a high level for four days against the best competition in the nation. I think Josh put a bit of pressure on himself and he pressed. Either way, he had a great tournament and season. We look forward to his senior season and to a great year for The Pride.”

Scott Harris Jr., who led from start to finish, captured the individual crowns with a 285 (+1). St. John’s Univ. (MN) won the team championship with an 1192, three strokes ahead of Redlands.
