The Good Stuff…

We had an article back in March while the Davidson Wildcats were going for the NCAA basketball championship or least they were trying to make it to the Final Four and the piece was titled, “The Best Davidson Wildcats”.

The article was about the ‘Cats and their star from back in the late 60’s and early 70’s, Mike Maloy. Mike’s son weighed in with his comment and today we got another follow-up from a South Carolina Gamecock fan.

Here again is what Michael A. Maloy said:
Thanks for the great article! I’ve been enjoying the stories from people as they reminisce about my father and his teammates.
Sincerely,
Michael A. Maloy

and then today Alan Pavon said,
I remember your Dad came to the Carolina Coliseum along with Bryan Adrian and handed the highly ranked Gamecocks 1 of only 3 losses that season. Your Dad was a terrific ball-player and lead the way for other African-Americans to play basketball in the South. My fondest regards to you and your Father.
