Greensboro College’s Carrie Pacifico Named to CoSIDA National Academic Team

Greensboro College senior Carrie Pacifico was picked to the women’s at large academic national third team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

A native of Charleston, W.V., Pacifico earned the Hutson Award–honoring the school’s 11th president–the prestigious award is considered the highest attainable by a traditional Greensboro College student. Pacifico graduated in May with a 3.75 cumulative grade point average with a major in business administration and economics and a minor in art.

Pacifico won the USA South women’s tennis player of the year honor the past three seasons. She closed her career with 76 singles wins, double the second best competitor in program history. Pacifico earned regional academic first team honors last month.
