Raybon, Fleming, Goins all GONE, who’s next?

According to Kevin Connolly at FOX8 News/Sports, Mike Raybon the Athletic Director at Ragsdale has retired. The same can be said for Herb Goings, the Athletic Director for the entire Guilford County School System.

Kevin Fleming has stepped down as the prinicipal at Grimsley. Keenan Allen(RB), a rising junior, and the football player from Grimsley that we talked about here last week is heading to Northern Guilford. That’s what his mom told another lady last week and we in turn got the news.

I would say the best bet to replace Herb Goins would be Rusty Lee the AD from Page. He has the credentials and he is the most experienced Athletic Director in Guilford County.

  1. ANDY, YOU ARE CORRECT. MIKE IS RETIRING. I’M HEARING THAT HE WILL TAKE OVER AS HEAD MAN IN THE NEW CONFERENCE WHERE RAGSDALE WILL BE AFTER REALINGNMENT, AS THE AD. HE WILL HAVE TO WAIT THE 6 MONTHS IN ORDER TO DO THAT. THE INSIDERS CALL THAT “DOUBLE DIPPING”. AR WE SAY, STAY TUNED!

  2. credentials and experience can look good, but honesty and integrity are what’s more important.

  3. I’m pretty sure Glenn Locklear is the new AD at Ragsdale. He is currently performing the duties. This has been in the works for some time.
