The Proehlific Power improved to (15-5) on the season with their 6-0 win today over Rock Canyon, Colorado in the tournament going on this week out in Omha, Nebraska. The game was played at Miller South High School.

The winning PP pitcher was Mike Dimock who struck out nine Rock Canyon batters while giving up five hits, plus allowing only one walk and he hit one man.

Alex Swim led the Power hitters with 3 hits including a double, then Travis Woolen had two hits and another double and it was the same story for Robbie McIntosh with two hits. Nick Jones connected for a triple and Logan Self added a double for the Power at the plate.

The Power is in action again on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 and then they have a doubleheader coming up on Friday. There is a large FanFest going on in Omaha during the PP tournament and in conjunction with the College Baseball World Series.

The Power had a chance to watch Fresno State upset UNC last night and Coach Smith said that the Bulldogs of Fresno State are a solid defensive team.
