Proehlific Power drops game one in Extra Innings

The Proehlific Power fell to Taiwan 7-6 in 10 innings, in game one of the Palomino World Series, on Friday in San Jose, California.

Power starting pitcher Mike Dimock went nine innings and gave up 6 runs on 6 hits, walked two and struck out 7 batters. The PP committed no errors and they carried a 6-3 lead into the bottom of the 7th inning. JB Brewer came on in the 10th inning for the Power and he was charged with the loss.

Travis Woolen and Aaron Jones(3 RBI’s) had three hits a piece to pace the Power and Woolen also had an RBI as did Alex Swim with a hit and an RBI and Logan Self with the same, a hit and an RBI for the Porehlific Power.

Again, the Power fall 7-6 in 10 innnigs in game one of the Palomino World Series and they will play again today(Saturday) at 8pm(Pacific Time) versus the Host team, the San Jose Blaze.

  1. Estarlin Paulino pitched a gem Saturday night to defeat San Jose California 2-1. Estarlin pitched the distance scattering 3 hits while striking out 7. Aaron Jones and Alex Swim had the rbi’s for the Power. Logan Self had 2 hits. The Power made some outstanding defensive plays. Logan Self and Travis Woolen made superb plays in the field. The Power plays Joliet Illinois tomorrow at 2;00. If they win that game and San Jose beats Taiwaan, the Power have a chance to make it to the championship round, depending on runs given up. Joe Wagstaff is scheduled to pitch for the Power on Sunday.
