The Proehlific Power picked up an very important 2-1 win at the Palomino World Series in San Jose, California on Saturday night.

The Power are now (1-1) in the tournament and they play again this afternoon at 2pm Pacific.

Power pitcher Esterlin Paulino, went the distance for the PP, and Paulino gave up three hits, he walked two, struck out seven and gave up the one run. Paulino threw the complete game.

Aaron Jones was the leading hitter with two hits and both RBI’s, while Alex Swim had one hit and Logan Self added two hits and made a great defensive play at third base.

Travis Woolen made an ESPN web gem catch out in right field that might just have been the play of the game.

  1. Proehlific picked up a much needed victory today in the 3rd and final game of pool play. The power won 8 to 1. Joe Wagstaff pitched 6.2 innings while Power was lead by Alex Swim and MIke Wall. Swim was 3-4 while Wall hit a bomb est distance of at least 415 feet. The Power needs some help tonight in the 8 o clock game but with help the Power could be playing for a World Championship Monday afternoon.

  2. when will justin get back? palomino cannot even get to the “big game” with a select team form all over the state! next year, pp had better set up a dorm for out-of-state players to live and work at prohelific park and then play baseball. maybe then, they can get out of pool play. see you guys bragging @ the hoppers games soon, right?
