  1. Way to go Mike Whited! Glad to see he finally got some attention after no mention of him the first few games.
Congratulations to Greensboro Green for a great showing at the tournament.

  2. I would like to congratulate both the Colt and Palomino teams for representing Greensboro in their respective World Seies. It is an honor to get that far. Usually the competetion is fierce. I think both teams did a good job getting there and showing what they can do. The Power would have been in the Championship game had not Taiwaan beat them in extra innings. Houston Kyle Chapman had the best team and they won it. They had six players that were drafted in the June draft. The Colts had some good players as well. When you get that far it takes luck as well as skill. I understand that the Power has already put their team together for next year. Supposedly they will be just as good or better. Also, good luck to the Colts next year.

  3. Based on an earlier post we had,

We are not here to trash the Colt or Palomino players.

Both teams deserve a lot credit for their hard work in those tournaments.
