Guilford’s volleyball team won its home opener Wednesday night, 3-1, over Peace College. Anna Miller led the way with 11 kills and 11 digs. Taylor Phillips added a game-best 35 assists. Vice President for Enrollment Services Randy Doss ’82 announced Tom Palombo will serve as Guilford’s athletic director Tuesday. Palombo, who remains the Quakers’ head men’s basketball coach, filled the post on an interim basis for the past year.
