The “Call of the Day”, was the False Start Call and how many wins for Panthers?

I have never seen so many false start calls as there were in Sunday’s Carolina Panthers-Chicago Bears game. Jordan Gross, Jeff Otah, Jeff King, and the list of laundry lubbers goes on and on. After all those crazy penelties the Panthers are very fortunate to have still won this game.

Speaking of wins, how many will the Panthers end up with this season? The ENW(Estimated Number of Wins) has to be growing. Is it time to lock it down with 10?

The Carolina Panthers are going to win at least 10 games during the 2008 regular season. Should we be talking 11 or 12 wins after this (2-0) start????? We are not here to jinx anybody, but what do you say?

Are there any new converts out there today? (10-6), (11-5), (12-4)?????

Panther Talk is on the air at GREENSBOROSports.com……….

from Sunday at the Panthers web site:
Rally cats:Panthers win 20-17
For a second consecutive week, the Panthers rallied for a thrilling win, coming back from a 17-3 third-quarter deficit to defeat the Bears 20-17 at Bank of America Stadium. Quarterback Jake Delhomme directed yet another game winning drive, capped by running back Jonathan Stewart’s second touchdown of the game, and the defense made a final stand on fourth-and-one at midfield to clinch the win.

  1. The Panthers are 2-0 and they haven’t even used Steve Smith yet. I think the Carolina Panthers have a shot to go 14-2 and as for the the North Carolina Tar Heels look at the Heels at 2-0.

This will be the year of the Heels and the Panthers. UNC will win at least 1o games and they will go to a major bowl. Why not this is the year of the Tar Heel and Panther Blue and White attack.

The Carolina Tar Heels and the Carolina Panthers and all is well in the North State. Steve Smith will take the Panthers to places they have never been before and Brandon Tate will take the Tar Heels to a Top Ten ranking at the end of the year. Super Bowl and the day after New Years Bowl.

Heels and Panthers baby and you can take that to the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte or to the ATM at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill.

    Panthers 14-2
    Heels 10-2

  2. Look at the Panthers schedule and you will find that they will go 13-3. The schedule favors the Carolina Panthers and the only games they will lose will be at Green Bay, at the NY Giants and at New Orleans.

Carolina Panthers 13-3 and NFC South champs
