The passing play from the Southeast Guilford win over the Southern Guilford Storm has been the most tallked about football play we have seen so far this season at GREENSBOROSports.com.

Last Friday night September 12 late in the game, with Southern at Southeast, Falcon quarterback Terrance Topps ran all over the field before finally putting up a pass to Kir Turner that proved to be the game-winner.

From Doug Cockman’s write-up at GREENSBOROSports.com:
Southeast Guilford quarterback Terrance Topps connected with Kir Turner on a 34 yard touchdown pass with 1:21 left in the game to lead the Falcons to a wild 21-14 win over Southern Guilford.

From Coach Fritz Hessenthaler in his quote to Tom Keller in Saturday morning’s News and Record:
Coach Hessenthaler told Tom Keller of the N&R after the game and we quote, “That was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen on a football field.”

I had the opportunity to watch the video on Monday afternoon and it is the real deal. Watch as the FedEx Ground Player of the Week moves from side-to-side, he nearly falls down and then finally lets it rip, up field, to his teammate Kir Turner for the TD from TT to KT.

This will be one of the wildest plays you will ever see in any football game. Check it out as we take it public here at GREENSBOROSports.com:

It says the video is no longer available…humh?

  • Andy said,

I do believe there is a time period here where we have to wait for the video to load and let’s hope that time frame for loading is nearly complete.

  • keith said,

would love to see the video.

  • Andy said,

    It is here…..

    Great job Terrance Topps…

  • Doug Cockman said,

This play was incredible. Thanks to Damon for supplying the video.I’m sure that this is one people will want to see, again and again.

  • keith said,

thanks for the video what a crazy play

  • Lute said,

The quarterback’s knee was down. The play should have been blown dead right there!

  • Damon said,

That’s wishful thinking. At no point did his knee touch the ground. I have played this video on slow motion at least 20 times. Look again.

  • Andy said,

Terracne got some super blocks from his SEG teammates on this play and how many tacklers did he avoid, 5 or 6? It looked like at least 6…..Maybe seven.

  • keith said,

    his knee was never down,

  • Lee said,

I thought the ball may have touched the ground but it doesn’t matter. I’m sure the officials had a better view than we did.
