Emory, Va. (9-17-08) – Guilford dropped a 3-1 decision at Old Dominion Athletic Conference-rival Emory & Henry College Wednesday night. The scores of the match were 25-18, 25-12, 20-25, 25-13 in favor of the Wasps.
Shanika Tunnell had five kills and eight blocks for Guilford. Anna Miller added eight kills and Emma Gunn had eight blocks. Teammate Taylor Phillips set up 25 putaways, including five by Stephanie Blankenship.
Guilford (2-12, 0-3 ODAC) returns to action Friday (9/19) evening when it hosts non-conference rival North Carolina Wesleyan College for a 6:00 p.m. match.
