The News and Record’s Rob Daniels reported on Saturday that North Carolina A&T football player Chad Wiley died in May due to complications from a Heat Stroke.
Wiley collapsed during a voluntary workout on May 27 and died the next day at Moses Cone Hospital. The state medical examiner’s report, released on Friday, also said that Wiley had a sickle-cell trait which also contributed to his death.
