Pride Back in Regional Poll

After shutout wins over Ferrum (8-0) and Maryville (2-0, Greensboro College has reentered the NSCAA regional rankings. The Pride (9-4-1-) is ninth in the poll. GC plays at CNU, also unbeaten in conference, on Saturday night. You can viiew the entire NSCAA poll HERE.



Greensboro is USA South Women’s Basketball Favorite

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Greensboro College, under the direction of seven-year Head Coach Jason Tuggle was picked in the preseason coaches’ poll to win the USA South Athletic Conference 2008-09 women’s basketball title. Last season, The Pride captured both the regular season and tournament championships for the third time in four years. The regular season title was Greensboro’s fourth-ever while the tournament crown was the program’s fifth. In addition, Tuggle collected 2007-08 Coach of the Year honors.



Pride Men Sixth in USAS Hoops Poll

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Greensboro College has been picked to finish sixth in the conference, according to a poll of USA South coaches. Under fourth year Head Coach Bryan Galuski, The Pride returns 9 letterwinners and 2 startes from a team that reached the USAS title game.
