We will have the Page-Grimsley game on radio for you tonight on AM950 at 7pm with the pre-game, plus we will also have updates on Reidsville at Eastern Guilford, Northwest Guilford at High Point Central, Randleman at Ragsdale, Southeast Guilford at Southwestern Randolph, WS Atkins at Southern Guilford and Western Guilford at Rockingham County……It’s gonna be a busy night as we head into Week #9 of the season.

A look at tonight’s games and how they might end up has the County’s top team, the Dudley Panthers(8-0) with an open date. We have Randleman at Ragsdale(8-0) and the Tigers should beat the Tigers by 35 or more, we’ll say Ragsdale 42-7. You stop and think about it for a minute and this wet weather might just slow down a few teams.

Reidsville is coming full steam ahead right into Gibsonville to face Eastern Guilford(7-0) and the EG Wildcats will put up a good fight, but the Reidsville Rams take this one 28-14.

Northwest Guilford(3-4) goes over to Simeon Stadium in High Point to battle the Bison of High Point Central(5-2) and this will be a playoff determiner with both teams ready to scramble all over that field in the wet conditions with Northwest finally pulling one out in an upset 20-14 over HPC.

Northern Guilford(6-1) hits the road to visit North Lincoln and the last time NG met one of those Lincoln teams they lost their only game of the season, but with Northern putting up impressive numbers in recent weeks, we’ll take the Nighthawks, 28-13 over North Lincoln.

High Point Andrews(4-2) is ready to step it up again and they will as they whip Reagan 34-0 over in Winston-Salem. Northeast Guilford(2-5) travels to meet Morehead and NEG will improve to (2-1) in the Triad 3-A Conference with a 38-0 win over the Panthers. WS Atkins visits Southern Guilford(4-3) and let’s give this one to the Storm 21-13 and I guess we shouldn’t forget that Atkins played Eastern to a 10-6 game last Friday night.

Southeast Guilford(3-4) goes to Southwestern Randolph and RB Tivon Clark is supposed to be back in the lineup for SEG and the Falcons are also talking about moving Kenyatta Robinson to the starting quaterback spot and shifting Terrance Topps to the corner on defense. If Tivon Clark is back full-strength we give the edge to Southeast although SWR is (4-4), but let it fly with SEG winning 21-14. Southwest Guilford(0-7) goes over to WS Parkland and the Cowboys won’t find the Mustangs to be very friendly and it will be Parkland over SWG, 35-7. Smith(0-7) will also find the road tough at East Forsyth, with the Eagles of Smith(in reality Golden Eagles), falling to the Eagles of East Forsyth, 35-13.

Western Guilford will be up in Rockingham County tonight and the Hornets should come away with a win over the Cougars, 31-6 WG.

For our final magic trick we have the Page Pirates(4-3) at the Grimsley Whirlies(2-5). There will be no magic in Coach Bill Parcells wand tonight as the Pirates will crank out a 35-9 win over the Whirlies.
