The Carolina Hurricanes return to the ice tonight in Anaheim against the Ducks. Game time is 7pm.

The Hurricanes (2-1-1) will be playing the second game of a six game road trip. On Friday night, the they blew a 3-1 lead in a 4-3 overtime loss to the LA Kings. In addition to the game, the Hurricanes lost defenseman Frank Kaberle to an injured foot while blocking a shot. Eric Staal, who was held out of practice yesterday with an injured right shoulder, will be in the lineup.

Michael Leighton is expected to start in goal for the Hurricanes. The game will be televised locally on Fox Sports Carolinas. If you’ve never heard of it, it’s because its called Fox Sports South when they aren’t running the Hurricanes.

  1. Wow! You must have stayed up all night to come up with that piece! Real creative! Such two syllable words…my, my. Hey, writing stuff is not difficult unless you’re trying to make NHL Hockey interesting!!! Time is not on my side, since I have at least two full time jobs to keep me busy, along with the little web duty!
