SUPER 32 RETURNS TO THE GREENSBORO COLISEUM:BATTLE FOR THE BELT – NOVEMBER 1, 2008

We are pleased to return once again to the Special Events Center at the Greensboro Coliseum for the 2008 Super 32 Challenge. We continue to work hard to improve our event, as it has quickly become the premier pre-season tournament in the country.

The 2007 tournament drew wrestlers from 34 states, and featured over 175 state champions. States represented were Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and West Virginia.

Many Super 32 Challenge participants have had success in the collegiate level, including 2008 All-Americans Bubba Jenkins (Penn State), Raymond Jordan (Missouri), and Jon Reader (Iowa State). Other current collegiate standouts include Ashtin Primus (Missouri), Luke Ashmore (Oklahoma State), Patrick Bond (Illinois), Jordan Frishkorn (Oklahoma State), Kenny Lester (Arizona State), Andrew Flanagan (Harvard), Eric Hoffman (North Dakota State), and Daren Burns (UNC-Greensboro).

“That was definitely a big accomplishment. After he won that tournament … the University of Pennsylvania called him, Penn State called him, Northwestern University called him.”
-St Mark’s coach Jason Bastianelli, of 2005 152 lbs champion Andrew Bradley

The fastest growing, most competitive preseason tournament in the country!
