This will be week #11 and we are into the stretch run of November and this week we will welcome in our guests from Ragsdale High School, Nick Mearite and Antonio Gilyard. Mearite is Ragsdale’s leading receiver and he also is a return man and he plays defensive back. Gilyard is one of the Tigers’ top tacklers and we look forward to seeing both of these young men as they get set to battle Asheboro this Friday night for the Mid-Piedmont 3-A Conference Championship.

Should be a busy Thursday night with three senior players due in from Coach Chris Causey’s Western Guilford Hornets(Brandon Easter, Julius Hooks, and Mustafa Stinson) who travel to face Dudley for a shot at the Triad 3-A title this Friday. We can’t wait to hear from the Hornets for the first time this season.

We will have players(Josh Vogelbach, Hagen Miller, Kevin Vaughn, Mike Six) and a coach from Guilford College with us as the Quakers get ready for their Homecoming Game this Saturday.

Doug Cockman will break down this week in ACC football and look back at last week’s action with all those overtime games and the upset specials. The Heels are back in action this Saturday at home vesus Georgia Tech with both Durhams(Wes and Woody) in town at the same time.(Thursday night College Football with Maryland at Virginia Tech)

Big Jim Modlin will have his NFL picks/selections ready and we will be set for the return of the Carolina Panthers after their bye week as they get set for the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.(Thursday Night Football with Denver at Cleveland)

*****Dave Goren of WXII TV12 Sports will be our special guest next Thursday night at Shane’s.*****

  • Andy said,

I think you’ll need to go to FOOTBALL IN FOCUS at the top of the home page.

Nick Mearite and Antonio Gilyard did a very good job.

  • Lee said,

    Thanks. I found it.

They’re good boys. Kind of you to say.
