Here are the results from the Greensboro Parks & Recreation Department Youth Football Championship games played on Monday, November 10, 2008 at JC Park.
In the Pee Wee game (ages 7-9) the Lewis Center Panthers defeated the R & R Athletic Association Dawgs 27-13. This is the seventh straight championship for Coach Jerry Stanley’s Lewis Center Panthers and also their tenth out of the last eleven. Both the Lewis Center Panthers and the R & R Athletic Association Dawgs finish the season with a 7-2 record.
In the Mite game (ages 10-12) the Windsor Center Rams defeated the Lewis Center Panthers 20-19. The Windsor Center Rams who finished the season at 7-2 record were coached by Lindsey Howard and led by the all-round outstanding player Kameron Dawkins handed the Lewis Center Panthers (8-1) their only loss of the season.

i would like to personally thank coach stanley and coach Bob for the great job that they do for the kids. i know for a fact that they do more for the kids self-esteem than you could want as a parent. i know everybody wants to championships, the key thing is to build character and self-esteem.
