Paul’s Pro Pigskin Prognostications week 11

Last week 9-5 95-51 for the season.

NY Jets @ New England: The Pats are showing the heartbeat of a champion and have quietly kept it together. Though the Jets are playing great and Favre is showing he still has some mileage left I expect that cohesive confidence the Pats have to carry the night. Pats 23 Jets 20

Denver @ Atlanta: Matt Ryan grew up a lot last week against the Saints. Ok now the Saints are not going to make anyone forget the Steel Curtain on defense, so that has to be taken into account. This week though he gets to sink his teeth into a defense that is even more suspect. The Broncos though are more than capable of matching the Falcons blow for blow. The trouble teams west of the Mississippi have had this year when coming east must though be taken into account. Falcons 34 Broncos 31

Cincinnati @ Philadelphia: The Eagles are desperate, the Bengals pathetic. Eagles 41 Bengals 21

Chicago @ Green Bay: Aaron Rodgers has played well but circumstances continue to conspire against him. This week however he gets the breaks. This one will not be for the faint of heart, not that any of the games between the leagues two oldest rivals ever are. Packers 21 Bears 17

Houston @ Indianapolis: The Texans had Peyton put in his place a month ago and let the Colts off the hook. That will not happen this time around, the Colts have to get this one to keep the dream alive and Houston tends to be horrid on the road. Colts 35 Texans 23

New Orleans @ Kansas City: Ok the Chiefs have been, how shall I put this, awful; Arrowhead though is always tough to play at, and the Saints have yet to win on the road, Vegas says that the Saints are a touchdown better, I say there is no way that the Saints should be favored by 7 on the road against a high school team. KC 30 New Orleans 27

Oakland @ Miami: Bad team that has trouble stopping the run going east, bad recipe. Fish 28 Raiduhs 13

Ravens @ Giants: Baltimore has exceeded expectations but sending Joe Flacco to the wolves of the Giants defense has disaster written all over. Giants 27 Ravens 7

Minnesota @ Tampa Bay: Adrian Peterson is one of if not the most dynamic back in football, the Bucs however have better balance and an extra week of preparation. Bucs 23 Vikings 17

Detroit @ Carolina: What is that I smell? Oh that’s’ a blowout! Panthers 31 Lions 10

St. Louis @ San Francisco: Perhaps this one should be saved for Thanksgiving because these two teams are turkeys. Niners by default SF 24 St. Louis 20

Arizona @ Seattle: Seattle is out of playoff contention for all intents and purposes but with Matt Hasselbeck coming back this is the perfect spot to play spoiler as the Cards are likely to be a little emotionally hung over after the dramatic Monday night win over the Niners. Seattle 28 Arizona 24

Tennessee @ Jacksonville; The Titans just keep finding ways to win while the Jags just find excruciating ways to lose as all 5 losses have been by a TD or less. The pressure keeps building for the Titans and well as Kerry Collins played last week Tennessee cannot make a habit of throwing the ball forty times. If Tennessee gets past this one though there is a real possibility of running the regular season table. But something tells me that is not going to become an issue. Jags 24 Titans 23

San Diego @ Pittsburgh: The Chargers are coming cross country, look for their struggles to continue against a Steelers team still smarting from last week debacle against the Colts. Steelers 24 Chargers 17

Cowboys @ Redskins: You know where I am going on this one, though with Clinton Portis doubtful and Tony Romo returning it could be more of a hope than a hunch. Skins 28 Cowboys 27
Cleveland @ Buffalo: The Bills have faded after a fast start but look for their 2nd wind to kick in with the dysfunctional Browns in town. Buffalo 20 Cleveland 13
