Paul’s pro pigskin prognostications week 12

Last week saw a slip to 8-7-1 making the prognostications 98-58-1 for the season.

Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh: Ocho Cinco is on the shelf this evening, exactly for what has yet to be determined. That means the Bungals have about 2 chances this evening, especially coming off a short week especially coming off an overtime tie. Steelers 31 Bengals 3

Houston @ Cleveland: Two teams going nowhere, but at least the Browns are at home.
Browns 28 Texans 20

Tampa @ Detroit: The Bucs are gearing up for the stretch run and the Cadillac is finally ready to get back on the road, bad news for the laughingstock Lions. Bucs 31 Lions 17

San Francisco @ Dallas; Once upon a time this game meant that division titles and Super Bowl berths were on the line. Now it is just a chance for the Cowboys to cling to their playoff hopes. Pokes in a pounding. Cowboys 30 Niners 14

NY Jets @ Tennessee: The Titans just keep finding ways to win. The last two weeks I have anticipated their demise, but Jeff Fishers crew just keep finding ways to win. However I am going to throw caution to the wind as I feel that the Jets are not only playing great football but have had a couple of extra days to prepare. Jets 27 Titans 21

Buffalo @ Kansas City: The Bills have fallen apart but the Chiefs never have come together to start with.
Bills 24 Chiefs 21

Chicago @ St. Louis: The Bears have been up and down all year but look for them to find the happy side of .500 against the injury ravaged Rams. Bears 26 Rams 17

New England @ Miami: Two months ago the Dolphins destroyed the Pats with the wildcat formation. This time around the Pats will come more prepared, and with a chip on their collective shoulder.
Pats 20 Dolphins 17

Minnesota @ Jacksonville; The Jags have been the biggest mystery in the game with so little to show for having so much talent. This week their woes continue against a Viking team that must have this one to keep pace in the NFC North. Vikings 21 Jaguars 17

Philadelphia @ Baltimore: Both teams coming off bad results. I would say the Eagles are the ones who will bounce back, but if you can’t beat the Bengals how in the world are you supposed to beat a legitimate team like the Ravens. In a nutshell, you don’t. Ravens 23 Eagles 17

Oakland @ Denver: The Broncos roll against the Al Davis home for the dysfunctional.
Broncos 38 Raiders 10

Carolina @ Atlanta: Hmmm this is an interesting battle. Much as I want to take the hometown heroes I just cannot, Atlanta plays too well at home and the Falcons will be fired up because a loss here puts the Panthers too far in front. Falcons 28 Panthers 26

NY Giants @ Arizona: Kurt Warner is on a roll like no other, and the Cards are crazy tough at home. All of it adds up to the defending champions running into a buzz saw. Cards 31 Giants 24

Washington @ Seattle; Look for the Skins to return to form in Jim Zorn’s return home and to get a little revenge against the team that took them out of playoffs But Matt Hasselback and company will make it interesting. Skins 20 Seahawks 16

Indianapolis @ San Diego: The Colts are coming around, but look for the Chargers to come out with a desperate effort. Chargers 27 Colts 24

Green Bay @ New Orleans: This one should be a shootout, in the end it will be Drew Brees who will have more weapons. Saints 34 Packers 28
