Raleigh has 99.9 FM The Fan, 620-AM The Bull and 850-AM The Buzz and starting next month, there will be ESPN Desportes (Spanish version of ESPN) to be carried on an un-announced (at this time) AM station. Report by Raleigh News & Observer’s Inside Sports Media.
Raleigh has a few more people… BUT FOUR SPORTS RADIO STATIONS, while all we have is ANDY DURHAM buying time on local radio stations to bring us local sports. Certainly, there is an FM station that has over-paid talent and poor ratings that should give Sports Radio a Shot in Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem.
