HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS’ AMAZING SHOW COMES TO GREENSBORO

New “Spinning the Globe” World Tour set to thrill fans of all ages

 

The legendary Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their 2009 “Spinning the Globe” World Tour to Greensboro on Sunday, March 22, 2009 with their completely unique brand of exciting family fun, sure to create enduring memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Fans will be captivated by the Globetrotters’ basketball wizardry, hilarious antics and fan interaction, all presented by some of the world’s greatest athletes and entertainers, such as the reigning Clown Prince of Basketball, Big Easy Lofton; dribbling sensation Flight Time Lang; the gravity-defying Hi Rise Brown; ball handling extraordinaire Handles Franklin; fan favorite General Grant; and 7-foot-3 Skyscraper Alleyne, the second-tallest Globetrotter in history and the second-tallest professional basketball player currently playing in the U.S.

  1. OK, If you folks want a LOCAL reason to go to the Globetrotters game, here it is! The team the Globetrotters play, I think they are still called The Generals and usually get ZERO press, except here where it counts, the point guard for The Generals is last year’s Guilford College star point guard-Caleb Kimbrough. He is with the team, getting paid to get beat, seeing the world and enjoying life. I hear his girlfriend is in Greensboro, so you know he likes coming back “home!”
