We’ll have the game for you on Saturday afternooon with the Dudley Panthers(15-0) facing the Kannapolis Wonders(13-2) for the State 3-AA HS Football title.
Air-time is 4pm with a kickoff set for 4:30 from BB&T Field in Winston-Salem. The game will be carried on AM950 radio and at wpetam950.com.
Dudley defeated Charlotte Catholic for championship last year in Chapel Hill. The last time A.L. Brown was in the title game was back in 1997 when they topped the Northeast Guilford Rams on a Friday night in Chapel Hill. NEG knocked off Dudley in the semis to reach the final game.
In 1997, Kannapolis was led by runningback Nick Maddox, who went on to play for the Florida State Seminoles.
