Chesterfield Kings for Taylor King?/Duke finds the flow as they run past UNCA

Duke doesn’t seem to be hurting and it don’t look like they are missing Taylor King who took off to Villanova after last season. King liked to smoke cigarettes with the Blue Devil student body out in the courtyard and Coach K made Taylor run until he puked at practice.

TK got tired of the running and decided to keep on smoking and he took his game up to Phildelphia.(Hope his chocie of smoke doesn’t turn to Philly Blunts.) Could turn out to be a Lucky Strike for a kid who could have been smoking Slims up in Virginia but he chose to come to Bull Durham Country instead; which is pretty darn close to Winston and Salems.

Who knows what might be up next for the kid that said his motto wasn’t, “I’d rather fight than switch”. Taylor King said, “I’d rather smoke than run”, and King fled the scene.

Last night’s game from theacc.com:

Gerald Henderson and Kyle Singler both scored 14 points after being benched at the start of No. 6 Duke’s 99-56 rout of North Carolina-Asheville on Wednesday night.

Jon Scheyer added 13 points for the Blue Devils (9-1), who juggled the lineup after they were upset 11 days earlier at Michigan. Coach Mike Krzyzewski benched his regular starting lineup in favor of five players who had combined to make one start this season.

Ultimately, it didn’t matter who Duke had on the floor against an outmanned UNC Asheville team. The Blue Devils took control with an early 27-8 run and coasted to their 65th consecutive non-conference victory at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
