PAPAJOHNS.COM BOWL(The N.C. State Wolfpack led by their red-shirt freshman quarterback Russell Wilson has moved in front with the 3rd quarter just under way in Birmingham, Alabama.

State, down early 6-0, has out-scored the Scarlet Knights 17-0 since early in the first quarter. Rutgers scored on a fake field goal and the Wolfpack’s Willie Young blocked the extra point.

Rutgers gained excellent field position after N.C. State fumbled the ball away on their opening offensive drive of the game.

NC State re-grouped to take the 17-6 lead into the locker room at halftime and the Pack still holds that lead as move ahead in the third quarter of play. We will have another update soon courtesy today of radio, TV and the internet.
