The Basketball Broadcast from Beef O’Brady’s is coming up on Thursday

We will be back out at Beef O’Brady’s on North Elm tomorrow night at 7pm with special guests and some great TV games on Beef’s 40 TV’s. Beef’s has TV’s placed all over the sports restaurant and you will never miss a play or miss any part of your favorite game.

We will be talking basketball and there is plenty to talk about. We will be joined by James Abell, the boys coach from High Point Andrews and Coach Abell will have big Charles Goodwin and Darius Rogers with him at Beef O’Brady’s.

Coach Abell is a former assistant coach at Dudley and he has been in charge at HPA now for about 5 seasons. They are in the Piedmont Triad 3-A Conference and they should be favored to win that conference this season with Tony Washington, Goodwin, and Rogers.

We will also have Jeff Smith the boys assistant coach at Greensboro Day School with us, and Jeff will join the show at about 7:20/7:30. GDS has a game tomorrow night and Jeff will be in as soon as the game is complete. In the past Jeff has worked with Eddie Payne at Greensboro College and he also has worked numerous summer camps including several years with Dave Odom when he was at Wake Forest.

Jeff works with the big men at GDS and he is one of the top defensive coaches in the area. We look forward to talking to Jeff Smith on Thursday night and we will also look back at the Pizza Hut Invitational with Jeff.

We will also have Big Jim Modlin and Doug Cockman with us to review the Atlantic Coast Conference and the local colleges and that is always a great way to cap off the show. (Duke and North Carolina are in action on Wednesday night.)

Thursday at 7pm from Beef O’Brady’s and you can catch it LIVE by clicking on The Basketball Show at the top of the home page.
