  1. JC you are talking like on of my neighbors JA and I will ask you the same question I asked him.

When’s the last time Wake Forest won a National Championship?

  2. There is no doubt that both UNC and Wake are very good. Last night Wake was better. 1) they were playing at home 2) Wake is talented
I agree that UNC will bounce back and will likely win the ACC and I am a Duke fan, so you see that I have a lot of respect for UNC and Wake. This ACC year will be like no other because any team in the ACC can beat anyone on their home court.

  3. Its really a shame that Heels fans are having to resort to touting their past accomplishments given the talent on this team. Anything less than a National Championship and this team will be a complete and utter failure given the skills and experience.

  4. And another thing.

I think we need to give Wake Forest a serious boost. It looks like this could be a real nice year for the Deacs.

Who knows they might just end up #1 in the ACC and that usually means #1 in the Country. Ed Hardin said that Wake Forest was the best team he has seen and Ed said this Wake squad was possibly the best Wake Forest team in WFU history.

Better than Chris Paul’s team, Tim Duncan’s. Rodney Rogers’, Skip Brown’s, Rod Griffin’s, Billy Packer’s and Dickie Hemric’s.

It was either Ed Hardin(N&R) or Ed Cone(edcone.com) or Ed Ross(Jim Ross/Gary Ross Show on 94.1) that said North Carolina was the one that is over-rated just like Rob said…….

  5. I have never known any college BB championship that was decided in January, all of you Carolina haters come back on this site in March and we will see where the Heels stand, they will be a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament, if a champion were crowned in January Clemson would win it every year, but you never hear from them in March. How bout them Heels.

  6. Rob you are so right about unc fans!! If Wake is “over-rated” what does that make the heels who are in last place in the ACC tonight?

  7. The Heels have a wealth of talent on this team and if I’m picking my brackets today, they would still win it all.

Who on here is hating on the Heels? All I see is a bunch of crybaby Carolina fans name calling a team that kicked their behinds. One thing about Carolina fans….they are consistant.

  8. “When is the last time Wake won a national championship?” WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING??? Does that mean any team that has not won a championship can never win one? If this were true, the same team would win the national championship every year! Stop living in the past buddy, different players, different team. If you want to talk past seasons, that is fine, but what we are talking about here is how the heels gave wake their best shot and fell short! Wake is for real, anyone who watched that game knows it…

  9. The heels did not give them their best shot, Ginyard was not playing the top D player for the heels, he would have shut down Teague
